(for fans AND professionals)

Credits page

Many people have contributed to the growth of mvdbase over the years. First and foremost, Kevin Holy and all the members of the music video mailing-list who have helped over the years, including Dasrik (R.I.P.), heyjey, Stevie, Cihan and Dario.

We used to have an extensive listing of credits, in the early days, though even that one was incomplete. Still, I am bringing it back up as I feel it is better than nothing. And, you know the saying, give credit where credit is due! You can see those old credits here , albeit in an updated format (I mainly fixed the links).

That listing was last updated in... December 2002! Since then, obviously, many others have contributed, including (off the top of my head, my apologies to all those not mentioned) Dale Resteghini, Daniel Chenevez, Dominic Orlando, Patricia Friedman, Joseph Sassone, Stéphane Clavier, Pascal Heylbroeck ... and so many others!

Somewhat amusingly (or not) I stopped posting credits when I started keeping track of them better. Odd, isn't it? Well, the reason for this is actually quite simple. Credits are now integrated directly into the database rather than me having to count on my (very bad) memory to recall who contributed. However, there is no code written (yet) to grab that data and display it online. It's been on my to-do list for, literally, years, but there have always been other priorities.

With the Patreon campaign underway, I'm hoping it'll help me focus more on the site and thus finally find some time to finally, truly give credit where credit is due.

And speaking of Patreon... for the time being, I will use this page to give a huge THANK YOU to all the patrons who have decided to support If you wish to help too, take a look at these features that you could gain access to if you became a patron! And make sure you check out our Patreon page for the details on how to join up.

Last but not least, here are the names of all our current patrons... or at least, those who have agreed for their names (well, usernames) to be credited. In most cases, you can click on the names to find out more about these great folks! Where there is no link, it is because that person decided to make their profile private.
